ARVC Convention – Savannah, GA 12-2-2011. The Carolinas Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds is pleased to announce member awards received at the 2011 ARVC Outdoor Expo.
Lakewood Camping Resort received ARVC’s Planet Green Campground award for being the most enviromentally conscious campground.
Myrtle Beach Travel Park, Magnolia RV Park and Ocean Lakes Campground all won for the “A Rated Guest Reviews” category. The “A Rated Guest Review” award, started in 2008, recognizes ARVC campground members for their outstanding customer service which is decided by customer survey.
Myrtle Beach Travel Park received its first award, Magnolia RV Park won its second consecutive award, Willow Tree Resort won its third consecutive award and Ocean Lakes Campground won its fourth in as many years. Lastly, Ocean Lakes won the “Mega Park of the Year” award.
Winning an award from ARVC is quite an accomplishment given the stiff competition from around the country. There were other state Associations that won multiple awards at the conference and we must salute these outstanding campgrounds as well.
All total there were 6 awards handed out to campgrounds that are in the Carolinas and are members of CARVC. We’re proud that many of our campgrounds rank right up there with the very best in the nation. See our pictures below. All winning campgrounds are there except Willow Tree Resort.
