The clean up and repair process from Hurricane Helene is an evolving situation and areas in the Carolinas are in different stages of recovery and accessibility. Take personal responsibility and travel safely if you plan to visit for any reason.
- Plan ahead by checking road conditions and mapping alternate routes.
- Have a full tank of gas before going into Hurricane-ravaged areas.
- Bring groceries and other survival items, if able, as some destinations may be in short supply.
