Our Mission
As stated CARVC’s 2021 Strategic Plan: The mission of CARVC is to promote the growth, prosperity, improvement, and profitability of its members’ businesses and of the outdoor hospitality industry as a whole.
Our Vision
As stated in CARVC’s 2021 Strategic Plan: Carolina Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds owners (CARVC) will lead the campground industry to provide outdoor hospitality excellence to the campers visiting the Carolinas.
CARVC History
CARVC was organized by independent campground operators in 2004 from the combination of SCCOA – South Carolina Campground owners Association and NCCOA – North Carolina Campground Owners Association. The overwhelming logic was that the two states had many parks adjacent to the border in Myrtle Beach and Charlotte. Our Interstate highways fed each other on 77, 26 and 95.
The regional concept had worked well, and we had shared a regional Expo for years. South Carolina needed an association director, and NC had an excellent director capable of managing both states.
The CARVC board of directors and its executive committee is a balance of park operators from North Carolina and South Carolina. The proof of the merger’s success is in the continued growth of member parks and combined efforts in regulatory work and legislative efforts.
